Family of 8 all adopted Came to Canada with family in 1975. Lived in Calgary for 5 years . Heard James Brown Sex Machine,Kurtis Blow-The Breaks @ 18 @ SAM The Record Man <my 1st record store Job> Visited UK .It was very nice to see old school friends, family, and other relatives.   School friends Richard Goodwin and Dominic Parker     returned to Calgary . Pursued Record Shop Management Job Offer in Vancouver. Moved to Vancouver in with Sister.     My Sister and I in the year 2001       Moved Downtown Vancouver to Work @ ODYSSEY IMPORTS Records 1982 Met Danny Bloudoff who gave me work DJ`ing underground clubs Left ODYSSEY to work @ MANHATTAN BOOKS on Robson Read alot<always loved Books<see Quotes section> Looked learned about Art. Returned to ODYSSEY. met COLDCUT on UK visit in 1986 left ODYSSEY in 1989 to return to UK for 9 Months Met DJ`s COLDCUT, PATRICK FORGE ,NORMAN JAY, GILLES PETERSON. Spent time with AUNT and COUSIN JOSH. returned to Vancouver Moved to DEEP COVE. Laurie Anne<Deep Cove>inspired me to Start Painting watercolours. Started to Road Ride w/ Randy and Ash from the Cove. Started AFRICAN RHYTHMS Radio Show<Mole of Soul 1st guest>. DJ`d many partys in the Cove.@ DAVID GOODMAN`s house. DJ`d FLIP AND TRIP with DON CHOW. Also DJ`d other party`s like Chocalate Milk w/ With Luis,Clarence and Micheal Golf in 1992 .   Pistol and Burns was in the front of the Pic Pub. Opened coffee bar Pistol and Burns. Other Couriers inspired me to bike ride. Met ,connected with many people @ PISTOL AND BURNS< This is a photo session @ PISTOLS AND BURNS<it was open to the Street on Pender@ SEYMOUR ST> with Rocky Mountains Bikes in which they used for their catalogue. JF and other courier friends were regular visitors. Pistol and Burns was in the front of the Pic Pub. Which led to Clarence and I starting The Bottle Dj nights at this location. 3 amazing years of THE BOTTLE at the Pic Pub.                   Mom visit to Vancouver in 1998       Moved to DOWNTOWN took over VINYL RECORDS in 1999 w/ JESS 1999 DJ Norman Jay visits,DJ`s Vancouver,had a great time showing Him the Shops,sights ,reconnecting with key UK DJ.we are still in touch. My Sister Juliet visits Vancouver           Juliet and I in the year 2000       BROTHER gets Married i am best man in Halifax ,Nova Scotia 2000 Racheal and I visit Brother in the year 2000     My bro and I in the year 2000       2002-Dj`d w/ DON CHOW,Clarence. 2002 Nov B-Day party is a smash! 2003 DJ`d,organized Cancer Benefit for friend @ BAR NONE w/ Dickey DOO,Leanne,Jason Lev,Todd Omatani,Konrad Black....huge success...raised $ 2000.00 At the end of 2003 Shawna Stadius, my friend, died of Cancer... It was very rewarding supporting, knowing Shawna. She was a special Soul. 2004 I am now the sole Owner of Vinyl. Jess was a great friend and Partner i wish Him all the best. Cycling is still going Strong...Managed to get a couple of DJ`s to join the sport!!!! Kevin ,who works at Vinyl,is 23 and a budding climber Paul,another ex Club DJ and currently a Radio DJ<SFU>is a strong rider,ex Mountain Bike Racer Along with my Teammates from Atomic ,these are my new training partners.
